These works on behalf of Hewitson Limited took place on Corporation Road in Middlesbrough as an emergency full construction trench reinstatement. A total of 170mm thick using 70mm AC32 Road Base, 60mm AC20 Binder course and a finishing course of 10mm SMA laid to a depth of 40mm. As it was a highway, no joints were over-banded.
All material was hand laid and deposited Via one of our hotbox’s into wheelbarrows and then carted to site as the area was too small to machine lay. These works lasted approximately 4 hours including travel time to and from site.
